Petticoats and Parasols

Hi Ya'll -

That is me practicing my Southern drawl for my upcoming trip to Savannah Georgia. Petticoats and Parasols promises to be a wonderful retreat back in time to another world away from here!

I haven't had much time to prepare and think about the fun trip, but it'll be here before I know it! The third weekend in April!

I am attending this event with my friend Jen from Chicago. I will actually be flying down there from a work dinner in Phoenix the evening before, so it could be a LONG trip! But worth it!

I am frantically working on my gift swaps for the event. I thought they were one on one swaps, and then all of a sudden I realize I have 16 gifts to create!!! I hope to have them done tomorrow night and will share with you what I am creating!! I hope the ladies love them!!

What fun events will you be attending this year??

Rach-ology Designs Megan's B-day earrings!

Hi All -

Sharing some of my favorite earrings I've made as of late. These were created especially for my long time dear friend Megan. We've been friends since 7th grade!! Yes through the braces, big glasses, and perms!!

Megan's birthday was at the end of February and I was able to go out to dinner in Denver with her and gift her these earrings...created from my stash of French General beads :)

Happy Birthday again Meg! It was so fun celebrating!

Brave Girls The PEOPLE!

Hi Everyone,

So the thing of Brave Girls Camp that we all loved the most are the amazing people that we met there. Not only are Melody and Kathy wonderful hostesses, but such wonderful women. Along with their family, they welcomed us to a lodge in Idaho that was instantly a home with the love they put into it.

Melody has an awesome new line at Archivers, as well as cool new Chip Art tools that I totally purchased as soon as they were available!

Lisa Stanton was one of the first women that I met in Idaho. She came with us for a manicure and cupcakes! Lisa and I were table-mates during collage time and bunk mates on the bunk beds! Lisa is a sweetheart who I can't wait to see again at the Mary Engelbreit Home Companion event in April!!

Elena and her cute pig hat!! Elena and I met at the Spark event in November last year. She runs a wonderful non-for-profit called Scrapbook Royalty. Elena is a strong woman dedicated to raising money for charity and having fun doing it!! Check her site out for a fundraising opportunity in your area!

Have you met one of those women that can lighten the mood in any room of people?? Margie is AMAZING! "TM" Margie and her daughters run the Girl's Loft monthly scrapbooking kits. She also has a wonderful new line of scrapbooking supplies called the Girls Paperie, it is gorgeous! Margie and two of her friends also put on the Spark event in Utah. I hope I can make it there again this year!

Christy Tomlinson is another Idaho gal who runs her own scrapbooking and jewelry company.

Christy is a fun gal with a great smile! She provided us a fun jewelry project and she learned a song on the guitar to play for us with Maria!

So many more awesome girls to introduce you to....until next time!

Hugs
